Daniel and I were downtown last week and met Gary. After being laid off from work he was unsure of how he was going to feed his 8 year old girl, Faith. We provided them with dinner and with your help (GIVE funds) we also gave them a few weeks worth of food. Wish you could have seen their faces!
Last Sunday we enjoyed the thrill of standing with a few members of our church as they made their faith in Jesus public, through water baptism. One day each year we join with several other Baltimore City churches for a strategic time of worship, prayer, workshop discussions, and hearing the Word from 9:00am to 1:30pm. This year’s conference will be held at Freedom Church located at 5310 Hazelwood Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21206.
