1 Corinthians 1:18-31; 2:1-5

The message of Jesus Christ a crucified Savior is foolish to some and yet bringing life-changing power to those of us who are being saved. In our relationship with Jesus, God has brought us the benefit of freedom from our destructive mistakes. We are now free from that past and clean in God’s sight. Paul’s ministry in Corinth had been focused on this message. It was persuasive by the power of the Holy Spirit. He called the Corinthian believers to stop fussing with each other. He’s saying, “You think you know, but you don’t know. You’re distracted from what’s important.”
