Sunday, September 27th – The Anchor Youth at Breakout Games

Please pack breakfast/lunch to eat at church in the Fellowship hall after service prior to leaving for the event. We will leave church no later than 11:45 AM so we are able to arrive 15 minutes early. The event will last for 60-minutes. Holly and Malinda are planning to drive and can transport everyone to the event. Parents/guardians, please pick-up at Breakout Games (1840 York Rd Suite J, Timonium, MD 21093) after the event at 1:30 PM. If your teen needs a ride home, please let Malinda know and we can arrange that. Price: $20 per person. RSVP: Please RSVP to Malinda via text, email, or in person no later than Thursday 9/24/26. Please pay Malinda directly via Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, PayPal or cash by Sunday 9/27/26.

 

Sunday, October 4th – CHC Women’s Lunch at R. House

We’re going to hang out at R. House after church on Sunday, October 4th. There is a parking lot right next to R. House as well as additional parking across the street. Some of the food stalls may not open until 11:30 so we’re going to hang out at a table until they open and then eat lunch together. Let Anna know if you’re planning on going so we can make sure to save enough seats. Also let her know if you’re willing to drive others or if you will need a ride there.

 

Friday, October 9th & Saturday, October 10th – Men’s Camping Trip

CHC Men will be going on a camping trip from October 9-10th in Greenbrier State Park. We are leaving Baltimore on Friday afternoon to drive to Greenbrier State Park (approximately 1:15 hr drive). We are camping on Friday night and hiking on Saturday on the Appalachian Trail to Annapolis Rock and possibly Black Rock. There is a nice day use area for those who are not interested or able to hike. Those who prefer not to camp or are not able to make it on Friday are welcome to come up for the day on Saturday. We will close the event by grilling at the campsite on Saturday late afternoon and we will depart on Saturday evening. Please RSVP to Justin Kuk if you are planning to attend.

Wednesday, September 23rd – Life Group Wednesday

Life Groups meet weekly on Wednesdays at church. At 6:00 pm, the Fellowship Hall is open for folks to eat dinner (BYOD) and hang out with one another. Then at 7:00pm we’ll begin our Life Groups with a time of worship before splitting into small groups for Bible study and discussion.

 

Wednesday, September 23rd – The Anchor Youth Night

The Anchor Youth Nights meet weekly on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm. We will kick off our first night back on 9/9 with a discussion about our new format, the responsibilities of our teen leaders each week, sharing about our first week(s) of school, prayer time, and games! During the month of September, we will start a series titled, “Better Together.”

 

Sunday Church Service – Sunday, September 27th

We are looking forward to our Sunday church service this Sunday, September 27th, at 9:00 am. You can listen to the recordings of previous messages here. What we sing matters. God interacts with us in our times of worship. You are welcome to use the sanctuary front altar area during our praise and worship time. Let’s worship God with the best of our energy. Let’s determine to seek God and an increased awareness of his presence.
