Wednesday, October 7th – Life Group Wednesday
Life Groups meet weekly on Wednesdays at church. At 6:00 pm, the Fellowship Hall is open for folks to eat dinner (BYOD) and hang out with one another. Then at 7:00pm we’ll begin our Life Groups with a time of worship before splitting into small groups for Bible study and discussion.
Wednesday, October 7th – The Anchor Youth Night
The Anchor Youth Nights meet weekly on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm, for a time of worship, prayer, Bible study, and fun!
Men’s Camping Trip – Friday, October 9th & Saturday, October 10th
CHC Men will be going on a camping trip from October 9-10th in Greenbrier State Park. We are leaving Baltimore on Friday afternoon to drive to Greenbrier State Park (approximately 1:15 hr drive). We are camping on Friday night and hiking on Saturday on the Appalachian Trail to Annapolis Rock and possibly Black Rock. There is a nice day use area for those who are not interested or able to hike. Those who prefer not to camp or are not able to make it on Friday are welcome to come up for the day on Saturday. We will close the event by grilling at the campsite on Saturday late afternoon and we will depart on Saturday evening. Please RSVP to Justin Kuk if you are planning to attend.
Sunday Church Service – Sunday, October 11th
We are looking forward to our Sunday church service this Sunday, October 11th, at 9:00 am. You can listen to the recordings of previous messages here. What we sing matters. God interacts with us in our times of worship. You are welcome to use the sanctuary front altar area during our praise and worship time. Let’s worship God with the best of our energy. Let’s determine to seek God and an increased awareness of his presence.

Tuesday – pray for God’s will and Kingdom in Hampden.
Wednesday – pray for spiritual growth in our Wednesday gathering.
Thursday – pray for God’s will and Kingdom in Waverly.
Friday – pray for miracles of salvation and healing.
Saturday – pray for God’s will and Kingdom in our Sunday gathering.
Sunday – pray for a growing sense of spiritual rest in us.
