Church Facility Clean-up
This Saturday, November 6th, from 9am – noon, we have an opportunity to help our church facility partners with clearing out parts of the building to make more space for fellowship and to increase usability. Please wear a mask and bring gloves and a reusable water bottle. We will have a water dispenser available for water refills.
Last Sunday’s sermon is available on the church website in case you were unable to attend in person. You can also find other past messages there as well.
Life Group Tomorrow Night
Join us for Life Group Thursday night at 7pm via Zoom as we pray together and discuss the week’s reading in Philemon and Hebrews. You should receive an email later today with information on how to join the call.
Church Service this Sunday
This Sunday, November 7th, at 9am, we will be meeting together at the church facility for our weekly Sunday service. We will be partaking in communion as part of the service this Sunday. Individually wrapped communion elements (juice/cracker) will be available as you enter the church. Please pick one up for yourself as you walk in. We will allow for time so that you can enjoy this memorable experience (and yet we will not all be removing our masks at the same moment). You may bring your own Communion elements from home if you prefer. Please remember to wear a properly fitted mask and remain physically distanced from people not in your household.
City Kids Sign Up for This Sunday
Please use this form to sign up your children (ages 4 through 4th grade) for the City Kids class on November 7th. If you have any questions about City Kids you can contact Anna Talaiver or check out our City Kids page on the church website.

Volunteer Opportunities and Sign-Up Form
Thank you to our volunteers who have served so faithfully! In order to facilitate the return to weekly church services, we need more volunteers who can commit to serving consistently in these three areas: City Kids, Sanitation, and Greeting/Ushering. We are asking everyone (including current volunteers) to fill out this Google Form as soon as possible: CHC Volunteer Survey.
Planning Center Blockout Dates
As you are figuring out your upcoming travel and holiday plans, please make sure to blockout those dates in Planning Center. If you need help doing this, please send an email to email@example.com.
When a person repents of their wrong, receiving Jesus as Savior, they respond to God with fully devoted love and experience the shalom peace of God. This spiritual rest is a foreshadowing of Heaven and its eternal rest that God prepares for us. Belief in what God has said is an essential part of this experience and a path of continued spiritual growth. What God has said (as revealed in Scripture) is a living letter to us. It speaks life to us. The loving God, who knows all things, brings to light our motives (private thoughts and desires). This is for our benefit. As we follow the guidance of God our faith grows in the confident hope of this future rest.
