City Kids Christmas Program
This Sunday, December 12th, we will have a special City Kids Christmas Program during the main service. We are so excited to hear from our youngest church members! Parents, if your child is not yet participating in the program, please reach out to Anna Talaiver today if they would like to contribute.
City Kids Christmas Party
During the City Kids class on Sunday, December 19th, our City Kids will be enjoying a fun Christmas party with games and activities. If you have any Christmas lights that we can borrow for the party, please let Anna Talaiver know.
Christmas Cookie Exchange
Have a favorite holiday cookie or other treat? We’d like to give you the chance to share it with your church family! On Sunday, December 19th, you can bring 15-20 ziplock bags, each with about 4 cookies (give or take depending on size). Please label the bags with the cookie type and your name (in case someone wants to ask for the recipe/source). We’ll have a table set up for all the cookies, and everyone can take an assortment home.
Don’t bake? Don’t worry! Store-bought cookies are fair game, or you can come empty handed and take cookies home anyway! If you have any questions, please reach out to Kristen Faroe.
No Church Service December 26th
As we have heard that many people will be out of town or unavailable, there will be no church service on Sunday, December 26th. Our weekly Sunday services will resume the following Sunday, on January 2nd. Life Group will meet every Thursday night in December, so please continue to participate in Thursday Life Groups.
Life Group Tomorrow Night
Join us for Life Group Thursday night at 7pm via Zoom as we pray together and encourage one another. You should receive an email today or tomorrow with information on how to join the call.
Church Service this Sunday
This Sunday, December 12th, at 9am, we will be meeting together at the church facility for our weekly Sunday service.
Please enter the church sanctuary by the red doors on either side, and not the center red doors. The center door allows cold air to blow into the room. Thank you for your consideration. Please remember to wear a properly fitted mask and remain physically distanced from people not in your household.

Daily Bible Reading

We are able to choose to believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior and the Son of God. Everyone who will rely on Jesus as Savior experiences a new spiritual life. This brings a sense of peace and a new confidence that God hears us. In this way, we are brought into God’s family. This amazing grace brings about a change in our behavior and an eternal life of victory. We are able to walk in a close personal relationship with God. We are then motivated to share God’s love with each other. Our faith in Jesus connects us to limitless spiritual power beyond our own strength. We receive the salvation that came to us through the blood of Jesus. We receive the Holy Spirit. We publicly declare our faith through water baptism. Our lives are changed and we now live with a God focus. For this reason, we must stay away from anything that might take God’s place of priority in our hearts.
City Harbor Church is a safe place to find and follow Jesus. Click here for more information about us and what we believe.
