Pentecost Sunday – May 24th at Pier Six Pavilion

This year at least 10 churches will be gathering for Pentecost Sunday at Pier Six Pavilion. Childcare will be provided! We’re looking for singers to join the Pentecost Sunday choir.

Sign-Up Form: If you are planning to attend, please fill out the Sign-Up Form. This will help us to get a visual of the church in Baltimore. Every time somebody signs up on this form, a new colored dot will be added to the map of attendees that is located near the bottom of the Pentecost Sunday website.

Childcare Registration: Parents, please pre register your children for childcare using this form. Childcare will be provided (first-come-first-serve) for children ages 4yr-4th grade, served by 30 qualified background checked organized volunteers!. Pre Registration does not reserve a spot, so please arrive early if you would like to put your children in childcare. We appreciate you registering your children ahead of time to make the check in process go much more smoothly.

Volunteer Sign Up Link: If you would like to volunteer please fill out the form linked here.

Jesus Night – Wednesday, May 27th

The Fellowship Hall is open at 6:00 pm for Church Family Dinner and/or to hang out. Jesus Night starts at 7:00 pm. If we want more people to interact with Jesus Christ we should be involved. Please pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help you identify who you should share Jesus with. Think about it and jot down some ideas. Pray about it more. Our monthly “Jesus Nights” give an opportunity to invite people who would be interested in hearing you share your Jesus-story. This will be our last Wednesday night gathering before we break for the summer.

Sharing Life Together

Simple Summer

This summer, we’re embracing a slower, simpler rhythm together as a church. “Simple Summer” is all about creating more space for Jesus, family, friendships, rest, and meaningful connection. Over the summer months, you can expect simplified Sunday services, fewer volunteer commitments, occasional family-style Sundays, combined kids classes (CK Summer Club), and intentional opportunities for community through relaxed gatherings and park meetups. Our hope is that this season feels refreshing, encouraging, and life-giving for everyone.

This Week

Bible Study Workshop – Wednesday, May 13th

The Fellowship Hall is open at 6:00 pm for Church Family Dinner and/or to hang out before small groups and CHC Youth start at 7:00 pm. If we all work together to clean up after dinner at 6:50 pm, there may be no need for it after our gathering.

CHC Youth Night – Wednesday, May 13th

CHC Youth meet every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm at the church for a time of fellowship, worship, and Bible study.

Sunday Church Service – Sunday, May 17th

We are looking forward to our Sunday church service this Sunday, May 17th at 9:00 am. You can listen to the recordings of previous messages here. Below is Sunday’s song list. Please listen to these songs during the week. What we sing matters. God interacts with us in our times of worship. You are welcome to use the sanctuary front altar area during our praise and worship time. Let’s worship God with the best of our energy. Let’s determine to seek God and an increased awareness of his presence.
