This Week
Wednesday, October 21st – Life Group Wednesday
Life Groups meet weekly on Wednesdays at church. At 6:00 pm, the Fellowship Hall is open for folks to eat dinner (BYOD) and hang out with one another. Then at 7:00pm we’ll begin our Life Groups with a time of worship before splitting into small groups for Bible study and discussion.
Wednesday, October 21st – The Anchor Youth Night
The Anchor Youth Nights meet weekly on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm, for a time of worship, prayer, Bible study, and fun!
Friday, October 23rd – The Anchor Youth at Beachmont
The Anchor Youth will be meeting at Beachmont on Friday, October 23rd, for a hayride & corn maze with Saint Mo’s Youth Group. They are planning to arrive at Beachmont at 5:45pm to get in line and they will be staying there until 9:30-10:00pm. Please reach out to Malinda to RSVP and if you have any questions. Please note that this is a date change for the event (previously it was scheduled for 10/24).
Sunday Church Service – Sunday, October 25th
We are looking forward to our Sunday church service this Sunday at 9:00 am. You can listen to the recordings of previous messages here. What we sing matters. God interacts with us in our times of worship. You are welcome to use the sanctuary front altar area during our praise and worship time. Let’s worship God with the best of our energy. Let’s determine to seek God and an increased awareness of his presence. Here is Sunday’s song list:

Sunday, October 25th – CHC Fall Festival
Our Fall Festival will be held on Sunday, October 25th, from 1-3 pm in the Fellowship Hall! We will have carnival games, crafts, snacks, candy, and a costume parade! Please let Anna know if you are able to help volunteer at the event. Candy and small prize donations needed. Friends and family welcome!!

Monday – pray for the people we see daily at school, work, and in our neighborhoods.
Tuesday – pray for God’s will and Kingdom in Hampden.
Wednesday – pray for spiritual growth in our Wednesday gathering.
Thursday – pray for God’s will and Kingdom in Waverly.
Friday – pray for miracles of salvation and healing.
Saturday – pray for God’s will and Kingdom in our Sunday gathering.
Sunday – pray for a growing sense of spiritual rest in us.
