Sharing Life Together
Pastor’s Weekly
God loves you. Jesus Christ is interceding for you. The Holy Spirit is with you, bringing comfort and guidance. In the coming year we will take a closer look at New Testament books together. A new resource may be helpful (not necessary) for the journey. The “Connecting Scripture” New Testament includes study notes and helpful tools we think may be one of the best parts of your 2026. It’s available at a holiday sale price half off on Amazon, ChristianBook.com and other sites.
Church Renovation Updates
Renovations: Please be careful to avoid the main floor renovation work areas. Parents please make sure to keep children out of the area. There are tools and debris that could be dangerous. Floor renovations should be completed by 12/24.
This Week
Jesus Night – Tonight, Wednesday, December 10th

The Good News of Jesus changes our lives for the better. We want to share this with people such as our neighbors, friends, and coworkers. Tonight, December 10th, at 7:00 pm, you have an opportunity to invite people to hear your Jesus story, a testimony of salvation. Please let Pastor Ben know if you plan on participating. The Fellowship Hall is open at 6:00 pm for Church Family Dinner and/or to hang out before Jesus Night and CHC Youth start at 7:00 pm. If we all give teamwork to cleaning up after dinner at 6:50 pm, there may be no need for it after our gathering.
CHC Youth Night Tonight
CHC Youth meet every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm at the church for a time of fellowship, worship, and Bible study.
Sunday Church Service
We are looking forward to our Sunday church service this Sunday, December 14th, at 9:00 am. You can listen to the recordings of previous messages here. Here is Sunday’s song list:

Parking Considerations for This Sunday, December 14th

Good to Know
The Pour Over
Pastor Ben: A few Sundays ago, I mentioned this service that has been helpful to me, in keeping up with the news. The free account has been better than several paid services I’ve used. For local news I use a digital subscription to The Baltimore Banner and for the USA, The Pour Over: https://www.web.thepourover.
Gift Ideas
“My job is to take care of the possible and to trust God with the impossible.” – Ruth Graham. Last Sunday we heard an annual report on our Courageous Generosity support. Ten percent of our donations to City Harbor Church go directly to supporting missionaries in remote areas, medical missions in Guatemala, and similar efforts in Haiti as well as here in Baltimore. Two of our strategic partners also offer gift ideas to show further support:
