This Week
Life Group Tomorrow
This week, Life Group will be held on Thursday night at 6:30pm, at the Weybrights’ home. We will be discussing Chapter 9 of The Gospel Comes with a House Key. But even if you haven’t finished the reading, you will still be able to participate in the discussion.
Sunday Church Service
We are looking forward to our weekly church service this Sunday, April 16th, at 9am. Please let Pastors Ben or Rebecca know if you have an answer to prayer that you would like to share this Sunday. If you missed last week’s message, you can watch it here on CHC’s Facebook page or listen to the recording here.
Free Classical Music Concert
This Sunday, April 16th at 3pm, Hampden UMC will host a free concert of Classical music by the EPM Piano Trio. The concert is co-sponsored by Good Shepherd UMC, Hampden UMC, and Wild Mountain Arts. The trio consists of Elaina Gable (violin), Pia Carrasco-Isachsen (cello), and Myroslav Mykhailenko (piano), all of whom are currently students at Peabody Conservatory of Music. Feel free to invite friends and neighbors, and contact Pastor Galen (galenzook@gmail.com), if you are willing to bring a snack or dessert to share after the concert.

Good to Know
His Story / Her Story
Do you have a story of answered prayer or a personal story related to your faith in Jesus? We’re looking for people to share their stories on upcoming Sundays! That’s right, we’re bringing back His/Her Story! Please reach out to Abby if you’d like to share!
Church Facility Reminder
We love that so many families enjoy spending time together at the park after church service on Sundays! Please note that after 11am, the side entrance door to HUMC will be locked. So please try to have children use the restroom before heading to the park after church, that way we do not disrupt HUMC’s service. Thank you for being considerate of our church facility partner!
Helping Families New to Baltimore
After consideration from our elders and leaders, we have decided to partner with an organization of churches to support Afghan families who are newly arrived in Baltimore. In addition to making a financial contribution, our church would also like to help assist these families in additional ways. If you are interested in donating furniture please contact Aaron Mayhew at info@loveaaco.org or (443) 848-3417.
Pastor’s Weekly
Are you ready for warm weather this week? As my energy has been improving I am looking forward to being outside. It’s a wonderful time of year to get together with others outdoors. You can take a next step in building relationships with your neighbors and with people in the church. Maybe it’s time for a cookout, neighborhood project like mulching or a clean up, and/or getting together for a prayer walk. What idea is God prompting you with? Maybe it is easier if we collaborate. We can work together. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you.
