Pentecost Sunday, May 28th
This Pentecost Sunday, (during Memorial weekend), we will again be sharing Sunday morning with other churches downtown, replacing our usual location for that day only.
The gathering will start at 10:00 am and it will be held outdoors in the same courtyard as last year (29 S Front St). If you would like to sing in the choir, choir rehearsal is Thursday, May 25th, at 7:30 pm (at the GCB location: 29 S Front St).
Summer Kickoff Party
Saturday, June 3rd, you are invited to celebrate the beginning of summer with us from 1:00-3:00 pm! There will be fun games and activities set up in the Weybrights’ backyard for both kids and adults!

Jonathan has been a pastor and an Assistive Technology Professional for more than 15 years. Kristi has been a RN nurse for more than 10 years. They are moving to Guatemala to join Assistive Technology’s Catalyst Project bringing wheelchairs and professional educational, customizing, and medical services to people in need. They will serve by going out to villages and bringing customized chairs to those in need. They will train others to multiply this work. They will provide medical training. They and AT Catalyst work in partnership with hospitals, clinics, and other community programs. Catalyst works in various countries.

His Story / Her Story
Do you have a story of answered prayer or a personal story related to your faith in Jesus? We’re looking for people to share their stories on upcoming Sundays! That’s right, we’re bringing back His/Her Story! Please reach out to Abby if you’d like to share!
Church Facility Reminder
We love that so many families enjoy spending time together at the park after church service on Sundays! Please note that after 11:00 am, the side entrance door to HUMC will be locked. So please try to have children use the restroom before heading to the park after church, that way we do not disrupt HUMC’s service. Thank you for being considerate of our church facility partner!
Helping Families New to Baltimore
After consideration from our elders and leaders, we have decided to partner with an organization of churches to support Afghan families who are newly arrived in Baltimore. In addition to making a financial contribution, our church would also like to help assist these families in additional ways. If you are interested in donating furniture please contact Aaron Mayhew at info@loveaaco.org or (443) 848-3417.
Pastor’s Weekly
Rebecca and I appreciate each of you so very much! We care about you and we are praying for you. Please let us know if you have specific prayer requests. This past Sunday I shared a brief prophetic word. I was careful to not add my own thoughts. The Holy Spirit did not provide an explanation, and yet I found it inspiring. My prayer is that your hopeful anticipation of God’s activity is increased. Let us be alert to the Holy Spirit’s leading.
