As we count down the days to Summer, there are so many possible options for things we can do to be “busy.” In light of Ben’s message about Holy Ground and priorities, taking time to ask God what he would want you to add or take out of your schedule, could create a kind of summer you’ve never experienced before! How might God want you to help a neighbor? Are there certain relationships God wants you to focus on? Does he want you to truly rest more? Sometimes, inviting someone else’s input into your calendar can be helpful. In the past I have done this and it is amazing how someone else’s outside, not-emotionally attached perspective can bring positive change, peace and rest.

Ben and I are praying God’s best for each of you over the summer: grace, peace, safety as you travel and for all of you wonderful parents, great wisdom, and creativity as you and your children transition from a school schedule to an at-home schedule.

Women’s Social on May 31st

On Friday, May 31st, at 7:00 pm, you are invited to a women’s hangout. More details coming soon.

5th Grade Graduation Sunday on June 2nd

During the Sunday church service on June 2nd, we will be honoring our 5th grade students who are graduating from elementary school.

Men’s Cookout on June 13th

You are invited to a men’s cookout at the Talaivers’ home on Thursday, June 13th at 5:30 pm. More details coming soon.

Women’s LG Hangout on June 13th

While the men will be at the Men’s Cookout, the women are invited to a casual backyard hangout at the Weybrights’ home, with plenty of room for the kids to play.

Good to Know

Life Groups

Have you joined a Life Group yet? This has been a wonderful way for us to follow Jesus together, building relationships, caring for and praying for each other. We are looking forward to continuing these encouraging activities and Bible study discussions.

We have two Zoom meetings and two in-person meetings each month. The Zoom group meets on Wednesdays (every other week) and the in-person group meets on Thursdays (every other week). If those nights don’t work for you, please let us know. We are open to starting another group to ensure that everyone can receive the benefit of Life Groups.
