Hello CHC Moms! We would like to celebrate the start of the school year by spending time together.

When: 9/9 @9am

Where: Tous Le Jours Bakery, Towson

Who: All Moms

Cost: $0-$10 (not including maybe paying for street parking)

Building Work Day – September 27th

On Saturday, September 27th, we will be working along with HUMC to improve our church facilities. We need your help to finish painting the CK room, organize our new storage area, clean the kitchen and more. The start time is not set yet but we will most likely begin at 10:00 am. Updates to follow.

Back to School Nights and other fall work activities can feel like “busy” stuff sometimes. Remember that you carry the presence of God. That’s the game changer. With God’s presence you bring peace. God’s “banner over you” is love. It’s not all up to you. It doesn’t depend on how you are feeling. God can give you the strength, grace, and wisdom for each moment. Rebecca and I are praying for you. We’re excited about this new season!

This Week

Life Group Wednesdays Kickoff Tonight

Life Group Wednesdays restart tonight, Wednesday, September 3rd! We will meet every Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall for a time of worship and Bible study. The Fellowship Hall is open at 6:00 pm for Church Family Dinner and/or to hang out before small groups and CHC Youth start at 7:00 pm.

For our Family Dinner tonight, the Talaiver Family will be providing pizza and cake for everyone to celebrate Leo’s birthday.

First Fall 2025 CHC Youth Night Tonight

The first CHC Youth Night of Fall 2025 will be on Wednesday, September 3rd, at 7:00 pm! Subsequently, CHC Youth will meet every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm. Also save the date for a special youth event on Saturday, September 20th, more details coming soon!

Good to Know

Summer Heat – Update

The new standing AC unit has been doing a good job keeping the sanctuary cooler, so we’re planning to continue meeting in the sanctuary for our Sunday church services. We’ll continue to keep an eye on the temperature. Please check church signage and our social media for any updates in case we need to move downstairs to the Fellowship Hall.

To help keep the sanctuary cool, please use the doors at the top of the ramp rather than the main doors by the stairs. Thank you for your help!
