Sharing Life Together
Life Groups
On Wednesday, October 11th our fall Life Group schedule will kick off! This has been a wonderful way for us to follow Jesus together, building relationships, caring for and praying for each other. We are looking forward to continuing these encouraging activities and Bible study discussions.
We will return to the schedule of two zoom meetings and two in-person meetings each month. It sounds like Wednesdays (every other week) are best for the Zoom group and Thursdays (every other week) are best for the in-person group. If those nights don’t work for you, please let us know. We are open to starting another group to ensure that everyone can receive the benefit of Life Groups.
Prayer for Miracles
We have been agreeing in faith, praying for miracles and complete restoration for Steve B from cancer and Joe T from sarcoidosis. Please let us know if you are in need of a healing miracle and want to be added to the prayer list.
Pastors Ben & Rebecca are inviting you to consider a special time of prayer and fasting for this purpose. Please consider choosing a day that you will be in prayer and fasting for these miracles. You can add your name to a specific date, on this document, for the day (s) you will be in prayer and fasting (at least one meal). We hope to have every day covered by at least one person. We welcome more than one person to choose any day. Please add your name here: September Prayer Sign Up Sheet
Pastors Weekly
Rebecca and I are looking forward to seeing each of you this coming Sunday, when Rebecca’s parents will be visiting. We’ve recovered from the flu we caught last week. We will be visiting Portland for the annual meetings of our networks, MFI and Mannahouse, October 2 – 8. We will be ministering to the students at Portland Bible College, as well. We will be seeing some of our classmates for the first time since college.
This past week I’ve been reminded of many Scriptures describing specific activities in weekly public worship gatherings. Please consider Sunday mornings as an opportunity to give God a public praise for specific things. During worship come up to the front, let us know that you’re ready to share a testimony of God’s goodness, provision, protection, and/or share a prophetic word.

Good to Know
Church Facility Work Days
Church Facility Work Days will be held on the first Saturdays of the month, from 8:00 – 9:30 am. We will mostly be doing cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping), but we’ll also do some outdoor work (weather permitting), such as pulling weeds on the front sidewalk, etc. Please bring work gloves if you have them.
Give Opportunity
Please consider making an additional monthly donation to our “Give” fund. We would like to raise $500 monthly towards the following work: Jonathan and Kristi Biggers – Assistive Technology Catalyst Project.
Jonathan has been a pastor and an Assistive Technology Professional for more than 15 years. Kristi has been a RN nurse for more than 10 years. They are moving to Guatemala to join Assistive Technology’s Catalyst Project bringing wheelchairs and professional educational, customizing, and medical services to people in need. They will serve by going out to villages and bringing customized chairs to those in need. They will train others to multiply this work. They will provide medical training. They and AT Catalyst work in partnership with hospitals, clinics, and other community programs. Catalyst works in various countries.
