Volunteer Opportunities at The Well

The Well is a community of women being transformed through long-term relationships, practical programs, and the healing power of love. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the week—including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and group service projects—with a variety of ways to serve through mentoring, meal preparation, family support, outreach, events, childcare, and community resource programs. Additionally, The Well’s Hope Chest is looking for donations of Spring and Summer clothing items for men, women, and children. Please reach out to Rebekah Kuk for more details.

Wednesday, September 9th – Life Group Wednesdays Restart

We’re starting up our Wednesday Life Groups on Wednesday, September 9th! At 6:00 pm, the Fellowship Hall is open for folks to eat dinner (BYOD) and hang out with one another. Then at 7:00pm we’ll begin our Life Groups with a time of worship before splitting into small groups for Bible study and discussion.

Wednesday, September 9th – The Anchor Youth Nights Restart

The Anchor Youth Nights restart on Wednesday, September 9th, at 7:00 pm. We will kick off our first night back on 9/9 with a discussion about our new format, the responsibilities of our teen leaders each week, sharing about our first week(s) of school, prayer time, and games! During the month of September, we will start a series titled, “Better Together.”

Friday, September 11th – Moms Back to School Hangout

As we start a new school year in a few days, let’s take some time to hang out together. A new school year brings plenty of changes and a whole new rhythm for our families. Before we get too busy with all that the fall brings, let’s take some time to connect, relax, and enjoy each other’s company (and eat delicious food!). We’re meeting at Tous les Jours in Towson from 9:00-10:30 am. There’s plenty of seating inside, and finding a parking spot is usually pretty easy, particularly along W. Pennsylvania Ave. Please let Anna know if you are planning to be there.

Sunday Church Service – Sunday, September 13th

We are looking forward to our Sunday church service this Sunday, September 13th, at 9:00 am. You can listen to the recordings of previous messages here. What we sing matters. God interacts with us in our times of worship. You are welcome to use the sanctuary front altar area during our praise and worship time. Let’s worship God with the best of our energy. Let’s determine to seek God and an increased awareness of his presence.
