Jesus Night – Wednesdays, November 19th & December 10th
The Good News of Jesus changes our lives for the better. We want to share this with people such as our neighbors, friends, and coworkers. Wednesdays, November 19th and December 10th, at 7:00 pm, you have an opportunity to invite people to hear your Jesus story, a testimony of salvation. Please let Pastor Ben know if you plan on participating.
City Kids Christmas Program – December 14th
City Kids will be presenting their Christmas Play on Sunday, December 14th! Parents please see Anna’s email about the filming schedule and costume needs.

Pastor’s Weekly
This past Sunday, Pastor Ben shared in his message that prayer without relationship is empty and relationship (with God) is hollow without communication (prayer). Have you discovered, that how well you know someone and how you feel towards them, changes how you feel about a conversation? If I have a conversation on the street with a stranger, I may be energized by the interaction but it quickly fades. If I have a conversation with someone I know well and love, it’s like a happiness glow follows me around the rest of the day! When I have conversations with each of you, my love for you grows and my desire to pray for you more increases.
How much more so can that happen when we converse with our Heavenly Father who so greatly desires to have an intimate relationship with us? Not just the Sunday School relationship of Jesus loves me and now I go on with my day, but a deep, lasting relationship that is an exchange of desires, ideas, thoughts and emotions. What an awesome thing it is that we get to have this type of relationship with the God who created the entire Universe?
If you haven’t yet, take time this week, not just check off the box of prayer time and Bible reading but have real relational time with your Abba (Daddy) God. This could include listening to a worship song and singing along as well as Bible reading and communication. Maybe pay attention to how you feel before, during and after. How did it affect your anxiety? Do you have more energy and peace? Let’s respond to the one who loved us first! – Pastor Rebecca

Life Group Wednesdays Tonight
We meet every Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall for a time of worship and Bible study. The Fellowship Hall is open at 6:00 pm for Church Family Dinner and/or to hang out before small groups and CHC Youth start at 7:00 pm.
CHC Youth Night Tonight
CHC Youth meet every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm at the church for a time of fellowship, worship, and Bible study.
