Multi-Church Easter Sunrise Service
On Sunday, March 31st, at 6:00 am, we have a special opportunity before our Sunday Easter church service to meet together with many Christian churches at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater. The purpose is to declare God’s Truths for our city. Please note that this does not take the place of our 9:00 am Easter Church Service.
Pastor’s Weekly
Our “Holy Week” of celebrating Jesus starts this coming Sunday as “Palm Sunday.” It is the day we recall the day of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
“Blessings, one who comes in the name of the Lord.” – Matthew 21:9, Mark 11:9, Luke 19:38, John 12:13. In reference to, “Please, Lord, save us. Bless the One who comes in the name of the Lord. We bless you from the house of the Lord.” – Psalm 118:25-26. “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.” – Psalm 118:1. The psalm pilgrims always sang on the way to Jerusalem. The cry, “Hosanna!” translates “give salvation now,” and had come to be a term of praise. Every Jew knew of its occurrence in Psalm 118:25, which is part of Hallel, sung each morning by the temple choir during the Feast of Tabernacles, but also associated at this period with the Feast of Dedication and with Passover. The connection was so strong that many Jews referred to their palm branches as “hosannas”. People threw their garments on the road in a kind of instant royal celebration. “Tell the people of Jerusalem, ‘Look your King is coming to you,’” Matthew 21:5a reference to “The Lord has sent this message to every land: ‘Tell the people of Israel, Look, your Savior is coming. See, he brings his reward with him as he comes,'” – Isaiah 62:11. Let’s come together on Sunday morning with this as our focus, Praise God!

Good to Know
Life Groups
Have you joined a Life Group yet? This has been a wonderful way for us to follow Jesus together, building relationships, caring for and praying for each other. We are looking forward to continuing these encouraging activities and Bible study discussions.
We have two Zoom meetings and two in-person meetings each month. The Zoom group meets on Wednesdays (every other week) and the in-person group meets on Thursdays (every other week). If those nights don’t work for you, please let us know. We are open to starting another group to ensure that everyone can receive the benefit of Life Groups.
