Summer Kickoff Party
Saturday, June 3rd, you are invited to celebrate the beginning of summer with us from 1-3 pm! There will be fun games and activities set up in the Weybrights’ backyard for both kids and adults!
Please bring a camp chair if you have one and kids can bring toys to play in the sandbox. Light snacks and water will be provided. Please contact Anna Talaiver or Rebecca Malmin if you have any questions.
Sunday Church Service

Portland Bible College Courses
The online summer term begins soon. Offered at a lower tuition rate, is this intensive 7-week term a good fit for you?
Courses Available:
Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey, Bible Research, Romans, Personal Discipline, Passions & Values 2, Doctrine of the Church, and Decision Making.
Important Dates:
Orientation week begins Tuesday, May 30th
7 Week term ends Monday, July 24th
New Give Opportunity
Please consider making an additional monthly donation to our “Give” fund. We would like to raise $500 monthly towards the following work: Jonathan and Kristi Biggers – Assistive Technology Catalyst Project.
Jonathan has been a pastor and an Assistive Technology Professional for more than 15 years. Kristi has been a RN nurse for more than 10 years. They are moving to Guatemala to join Assistive Technology’s Catalyst Project bringing wheelchairs and professional educational, customizing, and medical services to people in need. They will serve by going out to villages and bringing customized chairs to those in need. They will train others to multiply this work. They will provide medical training. They and AT Catalyst work in partnership with hospitals, clinics, and other community programs. Catalyst works in various countries.

His Story / Her Story
Do you have a story of answered prayer or a personal story related to your faith in Jesus? We’re looking for people to share their stories on upcoming Sundays! That’s right, we’re bringing back His/Her Story! Please reach out to Abby if you’d like to share!
Church Facility Reminder
We love that so many families enjoy spending time together at the park after church service on Sundays! Please note that after 11 am, the side entrance door to HUMC will be locked. So please try to have children use the restroom before heading to the park after church, that way we do not disrupt HUMC’s service. Thank you for being considerate of our church facility partner!
Pastor’s Weekly
What is the Spirit of God saying to us? In what ways would God have us rest? In what areas would God have us put effort? In what ways can we increase our listening to the Holy Spirit? My hope is that you prayerfully consider these questions as we prepare to respond to last Sundays amazing gathering and in preparation for our meeting this coming Sunday.
