Summer Heat – Update
The new standing AC unit has been doing a good job keeping the sanctuary cooler, so we’re planning to continue meeting in the sanctuary for our Sunday church services. We’ll continue to keep an eye on the temperature. Please check church signage and our social media for any updates in case we need to move downstairs to the Fellowship Hall.
To help keep the sanctuary cool, please use the doors at the top of the ramp rather than the main doors by the stairs. Thank you for your help!

This summer I hope you are able to relax. I hope you are able to have some quiet time. This may be a time to hear what God is saying. “God said to Peter and John, ‘This is my beloved Son; listen to him.’” – Mark 9:7 As we continue to listen to Jesus’ lessons, “The Kingdom of God is like ___,” it may be helpful to consider: What does this “listening” mean, as a Biblical concept? “Let those with ears use them and listen.” – Matthew 13:9 This is a call to attentive listening and understanding, implying a deeper, spiritual meaning beyond simply hearing with physical ears. “Incline your ear, hear, apply your heart to knowledge, keep it within you, ready on your lips,” – Proverbs 22:17-19 This coming Sunday let’s return to, Matthew 13:1-23, the parable that Joe preached on, Sunday June 15, and the conversation Jesus had with his followers.
