Save the Date
Jesus Night – Wednesday, May 27th
The Fellowship Hall is open at 6:00 pm for Church Family Dinner and/or to hang out. Jesus Night starts at 7:00 pm. If we want more people to interact with Jesus Christ we should be involved. Please pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help you identify who you should share Jesus with. Think about it and jot down some ideas. Pray about it more. Our monthly “Jesus Nights” give an opportunity to invite people who would be interested in hearing you share your Jesus-story. This will be our last Wednesday night gathering before we break for the summer.

Summer Kickoff Cookout – Wednesday, June 3rd
You’re invited to a cookout at the Balman Family’s home on Wednesday, June 3rd, from 5:30 – 8:30pm. Please let Matt or Shanna know if you are planning to attend and sign up here to bring a side dish.
Sharing Life Together
Pastor’s Weekly
This spring we looked at Colossians and Galatians together. You all have shared so much positive feedback on these times together, Wednesdays and Sundays! Paul’s letters to the churches in Colossae and Galatia explain how believers are reconciled to God through justification by faith and not by works. And how saving faith leads to a new life marked by compassion, humility, love, joy, and peace. On May 31st we are going to the book of Acts. The “Turn Around” series builds on these letters by explaining the connection between repentance and faith. It illustrates how all people are called to be reconciled to God through repentance and faith. How they visibly demonstrate this new covenantal relationship through water baptism. How they receive spiritual power and enablement to live a transformed life through the gifting of the Holy Spirit. We’re thankful for the work of Luke, the physician and traveling companion of Paul (Colossians 4:14, 2 Timothy 4:11, Philemon 24), in compiling and writing these accounts. In August we will turn to 1 Thessalonians.
Simple Summer
This summer, we’re embracing a slower, simpler rhythm together as a church. “Simple Summer” is all about creating more space for Jesus, family, friendships, rest, and meaningful connection. Over the summer months, you can expect simplified Sunday services, fewer volunteer commitments, occasional family-style Sundays, combined kids classes (CK Summer Club), and intentional opportunities for community through relaxed gatherings and park meetups. Our hope is that this season feels refreshing, encouraging, and life-giving for everyone.
