Pastor’s Weekly
In Ephesians 4, Paul encourages followers of Jesus Christ to respond to God’s amazing grace with a thankful lifestyle of devotion. He encourages them to live in a way that honors God and reflects God’s love for others. With gracious, patient humility, we should pursue unity and peace. Within the church, God has given each person unique gifts. This includes people who function as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. They should be helping people learn how to use their particular abilities. This includes serving others, doing good, strengthening the church, and growing spiritually. Together we can become more like Jesus Christ. We can help each other. The church should be a group of people who are spiritually healthy, growing, and full of love.
