Psalm 145:1-7
David had found God to be praiseworthy over his lifetime, in days good and bad. God is greater than any other. David has learned the value of giving God worship every day. Each of us should tell our children the stories of God’s miracles, seen in our lifetimes and those found in Scripture. The wonder of God’s majesty and love should be our daily meditation. This Psalm is a Hebrew acrostic poem. It was designed to be memorable. This points to the belief that what it says is important for us to think about, pray about, and remember. Let us praise the God who is worthy of it, every single day. Let us think about who God is and all that God has done. Let this be the focus of your meditation.
