What do we learn?
God’s love gives strength, rest, truth, endurance.
1. Receiving Jesus, as Savior gives us the hope of ultimate spiritual rest that will last forever.
2. Any suffering or persecution that we are now experiencing will be temporary.
3. Sharing the Good News of Jesus here and now matters.
What should we do?
1. Read 2 Thessalonians 1, praying, reflecting.
2. Memorize 2 Thessalonians 1:7.
3. Use a daily moment of silence to reflect on it.
4. Watch for “We believe. We care. We act.” lessons from Thessalonians.
5. Pray for each other, according to 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12.
6. Encourage each other, according to 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.
