“There is forgiveness of sin for all who believe,” – essential part of Jesus’ identity, value, purpose, function

Iniquity – behavior that’s corrupt
Transgression – breaking trust
Sin – to fail, to act contrary to the will and/or law of God, miss the mark, failure to fulfill the goal, What’s the goal?

What do we learn?

God showed us love by sending Jesus, to make a way for salvation and a loving committed relationship with us, that will last forever.

Jesus gives instruction to share a Holy Communion, bread and cup, to remember the way to salvation and the call to a committed covenant lifestyle.

What should we do?

Follow the instruction of Jesus at the Lord’s Table.

Wholehearted loving devotion.
Gracious humility.
Joyful gratitude.
Generous sharing.
