Psalm 56
David sings about a roller coaster of internal thoughts and feelings. He is being harassed and attacked by people twisting his words and plotting to come after him. David sings about the way that God is aware of the situation and how he’s feeling. Despite feeling afraid, David chooses to trust God, sing of God’s goodness, and to live aware of God’s presence, thankful for God’s promise.
