Proverbs 28:7-17
At a level rarely seen, King Solomon had resources and influence available to him. He writes wisdom drawn from his relationship with God. One of the most effective and successful wealth managers of all time speaks to the foolishness of some rich people and the discernment of some people who are poor.
Proverbs 28:13 & 1 John 1: 6-9 make it clear that we will not benefit from keeping our sin a secret, pretending that we are in a healthy relationship with God. If we will confess our sin, God will be faithful to forgive us. The sacrifice of Jesus has made this possible. Our reasonable response is to live out of passionate gratitude.
