Colossians 4:2-18
Colossians 4:2, 5-6 are words to live by. Prayer should include dialogue with God (out of thoughtful consideration). Prayer works best when we give wholehearted devotion. Prayer is consistently uplifting when it includes thanksgiving. We should be alert spiritually, discerning public narratives, looking for God’s will, watching for the Holy Spirit at work, and focused on God. We should be careful to exercise wisdom in how we live and talk. We should make the most of every opportunity. Receiving the love of God inspires this kind of life. Following Jesus instead of our cravings. This is the way to live.
