Life is often described as a journey. Why is that? At times, it feels like the days are long and the years are short. We are becoming a church for the journey.God loves you. God’s Holy Spirit is always with you. God’s design includes your fulfillment. God’s purpose works through us as we receive and respond to the Good News of Jesus. As we share the journey of following Jesus with each other there can be significant mutual encouragement. What?! That’s a lot of words. What does it mean? Let’s look at the New Testament letters for the answers this year.

Watch Out for Icy Sidewalks

These conditions may melt the standing snow and ice during the day, but quickly leave layers of ice over walkways that have been cleared. Please be extra careful. Use your phone’s flashlight. Function over fashion when it comes to footwear. We care about you all.

This Week

Wednesday, February 4th

Between 6:00-7:00 pm we can share a meal together, catching up. At 7:00 pm we will have a time of worship (youth and adults). And then let’s hear what God is saying through Scriptures about healing. We can respond by receiving the gift of faith. We will have time to pray for anyone who wants to receive it. We can practice what we heard in the Persistent Prayer message posted last week.

CHC Youth Night Tonight

We will be doing things a little differently, and joining with Life Groups in the main sanctuary for a time of worship, a message on faith and healing by Pastor Ben, and a time of prayer. We would love for the youth to sit together in the main sanctuary. We may or may not transition to the Montessori area for prayer and discussion towards the end of the evening and it will be easier if we are all together.

Jesus Night – Wednesday, February 11th

If we want more people to interact with Jesus Christ we should be involved. Please pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help you identify who you should share Jesus with. Think about it and jot down some ideas. Pray about it more. Our monthly “Jesus Nights” give an opportunity to invite people who would be interested in hearing you share your Jesus-story.
