In Luke 21:1-4 Jesus is talking about “Courageous Generosity”. Because God gave us His best, we may choose to live on less, to be faith-filled, to give with a cheerful heart, giving that cost me something, because it means something, with a “loving God with all and loving others” focus. We see an example of this in Acts 11:19-30, where the church in Antioch sends relief to people in need and they are the first to be called “Christians”.
